Innocent Ujah Idibia also known as 2Face or 2Baba Idibia was born on 18 September 1975 in Jos, Nigeria. He hails from the Idoma ethnic group in the Southern part of Benue State.
2Face attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State to gain his secondary education. He got enrolled at the Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), and gained his National Diploma degree in business administration and management.
While in school, 2Face engaged in school-sponsored plays and parties. He also performed in some neighboring institutions like the University of Nigeria and the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

2Face’s Career and Net Worth
Two years after 2Face graduated, he began his music career. He created Jingles for the GB Fan Club at Enugu State Broadcasting Services (ESBS) in 1996.
It was In 1996, he Officially formed his stage name “2Face” (Tuface). He explained that he adopted the name to separated his personal life from his business life.
2Face moved to Lagos and collaborated with rapper, Blackface Naija(Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) who he met in his secondary schooling. 2Face, BlackFace, and Faze (Chibuzor Oji) formed a trio band Plantashun Boiz.
The band released two albums, Body and Soul (2000) and Sold Out (2003), released from Nelson Brown’s owned Label (Dove Records). In 2004, the members of the band went solo and disbanded.
There were accusations of 2Face not remitting payment to Blackface on sales of their co-written songs. There was however a resolution to this long lasting conflict.
Also, rumours had it that the reason of the disbandment was due to the “Faze vs Tuface” beef. However, in 2007, they came back together and released their final album ‘Plan B’ in 2007.
2Face released his debut solo album ‘Face2Face’ in 2004 after the disbandment.He released his second album in 2006 titled ‘Grass 2 Grace’ that had hit tracks like “One Love”, “True Love, and “4 Instance”.
2Face founded Hypertek Entertainment. In 2006, 2Face released his hit song “African Queen” and this was used in the movie ‘Phat Girlz’. This song is also played in wedding occasions and even paegentry competitions.
His album ‘The Unstoppable’ along with his single ‘Enter the Place’ was released in 2009 after its delay since 2007. 2Face has won a lot of awards like Best Male Vocalists in 2002 Affinity Awards, Best video in 2004 A.M.E.N awards, Award for Excellence in Outstanding contribution to the Entertainment Industry in 2004, and so many others.
