Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong, has been
charged with r@pe, conspiracy ,intimidation and supplying of
H@rd dr#gs to procure ab@rtion.
The Akwa Ibom State Government filed the charges against
him on Wednesday, August 10, at a State High Court sitting in
The former Aide to Governor of Akwa ibom state , Udom Emmanuel was arrested on
June 13 for allegedly r@ping a 16-year-old girl girl he adopted
and has been leaving with him and his family.
Reacting to the news of his arrest, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, described the case as “a very serious one.”
“To get involved with a child as young as 16yrs is not something I and the association I do not represent, would not stand for. This is a very sad development involving a member of ours, but I wouldn’t want to comment any further on this case,”.
According to the report, Mr Armstrong pleaded not guilty when
the charges were read to him, and Judge Ntong Ntong granted
him bail in the sum of N5 million.
