Angela Okorie Biography and Early Life
Angela Okorie was born on October 29th, 1975 in Cotonou, Benin Republic. Angela’s the third of her parent’s five children. She is an indigene of Ishiagu in Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi state. Angela graduated from the Theater Arts department of the University of Lagos. She also attended the Lagos State University and earned a degree in Public Administration.

Angela Okorie spent more than a decade as a model, where she modeled for a soap company. Eventually, she joined the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood in 2009. In an interview, she stated that her mother was against her acting career on religious grounds. Her debut movie was Sincerity (produced in 2009), in which she acted alongside Nonso Diobi, Yemi Blaq, and Oge Okoye. The movie was directed by Stanley Egbonini and Ifeanyi Ogbonna. Nevertheless, Angela’s role in a later movie titled ‘Holy Serpent‘ was what brought her into the limelight. And soon after that movie, she made known her intention to delve into gospel music.
Angela had a lot of breakthroughs in 2014. As at January 2014, she had appeared in over 80 Nollywood movies.
