Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has explained why he is visiting the United States.
Atiku stated that the visit would provide him with the opportunity for high-level engagements to set the pace for building a more economically secure and secure Nigeria.
Atiku says the real reason he traveled to the United States
Atiku is in the United States with members of his campaign team, including former Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye, and others.
However, Atiku stated that he would meet with the Nigerian and US business communities while in the US.
During his engagements, the PDP presidential candidate said he would outline his plans and vision for Nigeria. Speaking through his spokesman, Paul Ibe, the former Vice President, said he would be in the United States for a week.
According to Ibe, “the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, arrived in Washington DC, United States on Thursday on a working visit.”
“The visit will provide the PDP presidential candidate with high-level engagements to set the pace for building a more economically secure and secure Nigeria.”
“According to the statement, he will be in the United States for a week-long engagement to share his vision for Nigeria with US business communities and young Nigerian professionals in North America.”
