Lil Kesh’s Biography and Early Life

Keshinro Ololade Ifeanyi Kenechuwu, also known as “Lil Kesh”, was bornon March 17, 1995 in Bariga. He was raised in Bariga. He had his primary and secondary schooling at Stockbridge College.

Lil Kesh had his tertiary education at the University of Lagos and obtained a degree in Linguistics. He thereafter studied Mass Communication at the National Open University. There’s no further information on his early life, so we proceed to his career path.

Lil Kesh’s Net Career and Earnings

Back then in Bariga, Lil Kesh began singing with his peers and fellow students. In 2012, he began his full musical career. That was when he released his debut single “Lyrically”, which was a hit in Nigerian colleges.

Lil signed with Yahoo Boy No Laptop Nation (YBNL), an independent record label established by Olamide Adedeji in 2012. After Lil Kesh’s contract with YBNL expired in 2016, he formed his own record label, Young and Getting It (YAGI).

His record label released a lot of successful singles like Shoki, Efejoku, Gbese, and so many others. His 2014 hit song “Shoki” drew a lot of popularity and fame for him.

In 2016, Lil Kesh released his debut studio album Y.A.G.I., which consisted of rap and hip-hop and singles like As a result, I love, I’m in love with you, Efejoku, and Ibile. In 2020, he released another album, Ecstacy.

Aside from being a professional rapper, Lil Kesh engages in some other businesses and earns from his record sales, show performances, brand ambassadorship, gifts from fans, and some other businesses that have skyrocketed his net worth. 

Lil Kesh has won some musical awards and recognition, like been nominated At the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards’ for the Best New Act award.
