This Wizkid album has gained a lot of giant strides since its release. It is the first African album to attain a gold certification in the United States.

‘Made In Lagos’ became the African first album to be streamed for 100 weeks according to the Billboard world album chart. This feat was recorded on 15th October 2022.

This album topped first at the Billboard World Album Chart for three weeks thus, the first Nigerian album to stay multiple weeks at number one. It is also the longest-charting Nigerian project in the chart’s history.
