Rahama Sadau Biography and Early Life

Sadau Rahama was born on December 7, 1993 to the Alhaji Ibrahim Sadau family. Rahama was born in Kaduna, Northwestern Nigeria. She has three sisters, Fatima, Zainab, and Aisha Sadau, and they grew up in Kaduna. Rahama spent most of her childhood as a dancer and competed in a lot of dance competitions.  She is also fluent in Hindi.

She had her primary, junior, and senior secondary schooling at Libayi International School, Kaduna Capital School, and Musbahu Islam, respectively. Also, she studied Human Resource Management at the Eastern Mediterranean University‘s School of Business and Finance in Northern Cyprus. Rahama appeared in a lot of Hausa and English movies. Rahama Sadau, through the help of Ali Nuhu, got into the Kannywood industry and began her acting career in 2013.

That was when she started acting in minor roles. Her role as Gani ga Wane in Jinin Jikina, in which she co-starred with veteran actor Ali Nuhu, brought her to the limelight.

Rahama was an adorable and beautiful actress in her short time in the industry. In 2016, she was suspended by the Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) in Kannywood.

Her tagged offence was performing a romantic music video with a Jos-born singer, ClassiQ.

Owing to the intervention of Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Kano State Governor) in 2017, Rahama apologized to MOPPAN for overstepping her boundaries.

The ban was lifted in January 2018. Prior to this, she had already formed her film production company, Sadau Pictures, in 2017.

Rahama Sadau produced her debut movie, Rariya, starring Sadiq Sani Sadiq, Ali Nuhu,  Sani Musa Danja,  and Fati Washa. She has also released some other movies in her industry.
