Toyin Sokefun-Bello, as TY Bello, a well-known singer, and photographer, has said that she attended college only to satisfy her mother.
She added that she had always been creative for as long as she can remember and that her goal was to become a “big hairstylist” after graduating.
She claimed that at the age of 8, she began creating songs.

This was said by the singer of “Land is Green” when appearing as a guest on the most recent episode of the FK and Jola-co-hosted podcast I Said What I Said.
She claimed that she began both music and photography virtually simultaneously.
“I’ve been writing songs since I was eight, nine, or ten,” TY Bello claimed. I began [professional] music and photography at the same time.
“After college, when every student in my class was certain of their career goals. I did not have such a dream. I was totally perplexed. When I was in university, I remember thinking, “Okay, let me go to school to make my mom happy.”
I was then going to graduate and become a successful hairstylist. I believed that was my future. I requested to be posted to the south when it was time for NYSC, and everyone was asking where to be posted.
I thought, “What should I do?” And I believe that the realization that I needed to be posted to photo tech since I had just started taking photographs was a key turning point.

“I didn’t want to be a photographer my whole life, but that one decision made me who I am today,” the speaker said.
