Flutterwave is one of the most popular payment gateways in Africa, it was founded in 2016 by a group or unique individuals including ex-bankers, engineers, and many enterpreneurs.
Currently, the CEO of flutterwave is Olugbenga Agboola, he is also one of the co-founders and became CEO in 2018 after taking the mantle from Mr. Iyinoluwa Aboyeji who is also a co-founder.

Before Flutterwave, Mr. Olugbenga contributed to the development of fintech solutions at several tech companies and financial institutions such as PayPal, Standard Bank, among others. He is a serial entrepreneur with two successful exits under his belt. He is a software engineer with a master’s degree in information technology security and behavioral engineering and an MBA.
Flutterwave has processed over $3billion in payments from over 60billion transactions from major financial institutions and organizations including Jumia, UBA, Access and First bank.
