Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes, professionally known as Bruno Fernandes, was born in Maia, Portugal, on September 8, 1994. His parents are Virginia Borges and Jose Fernandes.
At a young age, Bruno joined the Boavista youth team as his father traveled to Switzerland to search for greener pastures. With the passion he had for football, Bruno convinced his parents to allow him to continue with the passion. Bruno was allowed to stay in Portugal with his mom to pursue his football career.
