Lateef Adedimeji Early Life and Biography

Lateef Adedimeji was born on February 1, 1986, in Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria. Lateef hails from Abeokuta,  Ogun State.

He attended Ire Akari  Primary School and Ilamoye Grammar School,  Okota Lagos.

Lateef proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication.

Lateef Adedimeji Career and Net Worth

Lateef started acting when he was in secondary school due to his love for acting.

He created his first video content as he served as an HIV/AIDS counsellor and educator for an NGO.

Lateef as a screenwriter,  working with UNICEF. He did a lot of stage performances and acted part-time before delving into acting in 2007.

He joined Orisun TV and acted in a lot of movie scenes, especially emotional scenes. He got tagged “Crying Machine”.

Lateef acts a lot of Yoruba and English movies and is sometimes mistaken to be popular actor Odunlade Adekola.

Despite the challenges, he finally broke through in the movie industry. His first major role was acting in Yewande Adekoya’s movie, “Kudi Klepto.

The movie brought Lateef to the limelight. He has acted at least 100 movies since he began acting for over 15 years.

He acted in the movie “A Woman’s wrath”, and some others like;

Lateef has been recognized of his competence in his acting career. He won Best Actor in a Lead role (Yoruba) at 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards.

Lateef won the Best Actor award at the 2014 Odua Movies Awards.

He also got nominated for the Best Supporting Actor of the Year category at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards.

Lateef got nominated as the Most Promising Actor of the Year at the 2015 City People Entertainment Award.

In 2019, he was nominated as the Best Supporting Actor of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Awards.

Lateef is a brand ambassador for Airtel and Numatville Megacity.

He’s currently married to a model, Adebimpe Oyebade otherwise called Mo’Bimpe.

Lateef has a lot of assets in his name ranging from houses and cars and he still aims for more.

As a filmmaker,  screenwriter, and brand ambassador,  Lateef is not resilient in his career path as his commitments are commendable.
