Olamide’s Biography
Olamide’s full name is Olamide Gbenga Adedeji. He definetly needs no introduction but we’ll give one anyway. Olamide was born in Western part of Nigeria, Bariga in Lagos state. He was born on March 15, 1989 and is the second born of 3 children.
Olamide enrolled as a student in the Tai Solarin University to study mass communication in 1998 but dropped out of the school due to financial issues. He is married to Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman.They have two boys together, Maximilian Boluwatife and Tunrepin Myles. Olamide allegedly had a love child with Maria Okanrende, who was then working with Beat F.M.The name of the child is Asaiah Monife Maria.
In 2010, Olamide released his debut single “Eni Duro” at the time it was released under ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne. Olamide left Coded Tunes and started the now notorious record label YBNL.
Olamide’s first album was under his first record label, the album was titled; “Rapsodi”. His second album, YBNL, was released on 12th November 2012 under his own label of the same name, “YBNL.” So far he has released 8 studio albums including; Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (2013), Street OT (2014), 2 Kings (2015), Eyan Mayweather (2015), The Glory (2016), 999 EP, joint venture deal with Empire and Carpe Diem(2020) and UY Scuti(2021).
