Adekunle Temitope Biography and Early Life

Adekunle Temitope, also known as “Small Doctor,” was born on May 27th, 1980 in Dopemu, Lagos, Nigeria. He hails from Ondo state. He also grew up with his parents and siblings in Ondo.

Adekunle Temitope had his primary and secondary education at Aina Orosan Nursery and Primary School and attended secondary at Oniwaya Secondary School.

He proceeded to University of Lagos but due to his strong love for music, couldn’t continue but dropped out of school.

Adekunle Temitope Career and Net Worth

Adekunle had tendencies to build a musical career right when he was wrong. He wrote songs and formed musical groups while in Ss1.

Adekunle began his music career in 2012 by releasing singles like Gbagun, Anobi, Penalty, and Mosquito Killer. His songs are mainly in English and Yoruba.

His 2015 single “Mosquito Killer,” a street-pop track from his debut album “Street Ambassador,” catapulted him to fame.

The album featured guest appearances from Pasua  Dre San and Young Legxy. Adekunle released another album, “Omo Iya Teacher” the same year. He also released a 2016 album, “Street King”.

Adekunle released his award-winning single “Penalty”. The single won the 2018 Headies award for “Best Street Hop”. On September 9, 2018, Adekunle performed at the London concert held at O2 Academy Islington.

He also had his first major concert, “Omo Better Concert” on December 9th, 2018 at the 20,000 seat capacity Agege Stadium, Lagos, Nigeria.
