Kevin De Bruyne was born on June 28, 1991 in Drongen, Belgium. His parents’ occupation led to his family not having a particular place of residence.

Kevin De Bruyne was introduced to soccer in his hometown at age four. 10 years later, Kevin left home due to how unsupportive his family was towards his football career. He progressed to Genk’s academy, where he was shot to stardom and gained attention from the media.
