Luka Modric Biography and Early Life
The Croatian footballer Luka Modrić was born on September 9th of 1985 in Zadar, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia. With the circumstances that surrounded his birth, he had a very harsh upbringing.
Luka Modric was born to his aeromechanic father, Stipe, and his textile worker mother, Radojka. Luka lived with his grandfather, who was a shephard.
Later on, due to the Croatian independence war, his home got burned down and his grandfather was killed.
