Reminisce Biography and Early Life
Remilekun Khalid Safaru, also known as Reminisce, was born on the 26th of January 1981 in Kaduna State. He hails from Ajilete, Yewa South LGA in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Reminisce also had his primary and secondary education in Kaduna State. It was while in high school that he showed an interest in various genres of local and foreign music.
Reminisce also performed in school activities and developed his rapping skills, drawing inspiration from the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg.
After secondary, Reminisce proceeded to Kwara State Polytechnic to study Purchasing and Supply. He bagged a Higher National Diploma in Logistics.

Reminisce had rapping skills, and the good thing about it was that his family backed and supported his dream of rapping. He took steps to improve his rapping skills.
Reminisce started his music career in 2006 by recording a hard-core unreleased album with ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes. It was not released due to undisclosed factors.
In 2008, Reminisce featured in 9ice’s sophomore album “Gongo Aso”, in the track “Bachelor’s Life”.
He released his debut collabo single with 9ice titled “Ever Nice.” This single was based on his true life story.
Reminisce released his second single, “If Only,” a love song which portrayed his versatility as a singer and a rapper. This shot him to the limelight and established him in the Nigerian music industry.
